Dubai rooftop dining experiences
Rooftop dining in Dubai is one of the must-dos during your stay in the UAE – the ultimate view over the city, the vibrant Sheikh Zayed road with it’s twinkling lights or just catching the sun setting over the Gulf, combined with an extraordinary food experience, that’s what we call pure lavish leisure.
No matter if you like to dance, relax, dine out or just admire an amazing view, there’s something for all tastes. For your perfect dining experience under Dubais starlit firmament, we listed the most loved Dubai rooftop dining experiences, including our favorite restaurants and bars.
Skylounge Level 43, Sheikh Zayed Road
This place is our all time favorite. Located in the heart of Dubai, right next to the Sheikh Zayed Road (Financial Center Metro Station) it is one of the places with the best view in town. Loved by photographers, influencers and travellers, we highly recommend to add the lounge on the 43rd floor of the Four Points by Sheraton to your to do list.
Our recommendation: Come before sunset, take some unique pictures and enjoy the Patatas bravas together with a fruit-loaded Sangria for the extra vacation feeling!
Opening hours: 4 pm to 2 am
Atelier M, Dubai Marina
The Dubai Marina at night is one of the most exquisite locations in the city, with yachts, luxury cruisers and party boats slowly making their way up and down the canal. The best view offers Pier 7 – a tower of restaurants and clubs in the centre of the Marina – with a differently themed restaurant on each floor (O’Cacti – Mexican food; Asia Asia, Thai cuisine with a beautiful interior design; Fumé, basically every food blogger’s dream).
The top of Pier 7 holds Atelier M, a rooftop lounge, restaurant and one of Dubai’s most popular night spots in one single place. On the first floor there is an opulent lounge area, while upstairs the roof offers stunning views along with fresh sounds, a dance floor and comfy sofa seating. The Mediterranean-style menu features exotic choices such as scallops, truffled aspargus and air-dried beef pizza with taleggio, wild arugula and shaved parmesan. Sounds good?
Lavish Tip: Every Tuesday ladies receive 3 complimentary beverages between 8 pm – 11 pm. Still not convinced? See their full menu here

Shades, Dubai Marina
The next highlight of our rooftop dining experience list keeps us in Dubai Marina. Shades, located in the famous Address Hotel is a shimmering chill out lounge with a casual dining menu, good Shisha and fancy drinks. Overlooking the infinity pool, the stunning views of Dubai set the scene for a stylish evening any night of your week or to ring in the weekend. A must try: the burrata. Truly Italian and a good base if you want to try the extensive choice of their signature cocktails.
Opening hours: 9 am to 1 am
40 Kong, The H Hotel Sheikh Zayed Road
Recommended and 5-star rated by various magazines, 40 Kong is one of the must-see places in Dubai. Located on the 40th floor of the H Dubai, with stunning panoramic views of the city dining casually between Dubais high society is a real unique experience. Palm trees and lounge sofas add the extra vacation flair.
Our recommendation: The Angus Beef filet skewers rounded up by a ‘Lucky Victims’ cocktail. Pure bliss.
Opening hours: 7 pm to 3 am
Luna Sky Bar, Four Seasons DIFC
Its casual, contemporary vibe makes the Luna Sky Bar another venue making the most of a superb location. This rooftop at the Four Seasons Hotel in DIFC offers breathtaking views of Dubai’s financial district, the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. You can choose between two seating options: inside or outside on the inviting terrace.
The food menu offers well selected feasts with a Japanese and South American touch – we love the black Miso Tuna Tartare with avocado and the Yellow Chili Chicken Gyoza. Simple, stylish with a real DIFC edge, this hotspot is perfect for a post-dinner or pre-clubbing catch-up and offers an in-house DJ, whose beats tune you into a big night out.
